Attorney General Martha Coakley has announced that Fung Wah has been ordered by the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination to pay the couple $60,000 in damages for emotional distress and a $10,000 civil penalty to the state for discriminating against the blind.

In addition, the commission ordered Fung Wah to implement anti discrimination and service animal policies, to designate a new disability-access coordinator, and to train its workforce about anti discrimination laws within 60 days, according to Coakley's office.
