Logan also wants to emphasize that it is pet-friendly, "with a strategic deployment of water bowls".

Tips include:

Make sure your pet is current with vaccinations.
Discuss the pros and cons of sedating your pet with your vet.
Book direct flights and try to avoid long layovers.
Feed your pet six to eight hours before your flight
Check weather-related restrictions when flying with a pet
Make sure your pet is properly collared and has an identification tag
