I'm a Cambridge dog-owner seeking a completely fenced in dog park. Everything I have found in Cambridge and Somerville is more than a half-hour drive away during rush hour. Is anyone doing anything about getting a fenced off area at Fresh Pond, Denehy Park or this area? If not, is anyone interested in starting up this effort besides me? I came across C-DOG on line accidentally. I am delighted to see there is a group like this in Cambridge and have just joined. I have lived her since June 1 and have a 60-pound 2-1/2 year old Golden Doodle named Emma. She is generally very good walking around Fresh Pond, which we do daily. Lately, however, she has been taking off on me. I am working on her behavior and keeping her on leash until she gets back in line. In the meantime,I need a fenced area where she can run free.
